Description
It was the church of the Colegio Mayor San Ildefonso. It was built under the direction of Pedro de Gumiel.
The confiscation laws of 1836 stripped this chapel of its riches.
Among them, “The Imposition of the Chasuble on Saint Ildefonso” by Juan de Borgoña was acquired by the collector Algur Hurte Meadows, who donated it to the University of Dallas in 1962.
